The Scholastic Assessment Test, offered by the College Board, is a must-have for people applying to schools in other countries. The SAT curriculum consists of three parts- writing, math, and reading\/writing analysis. The College Board sets no specific SAT eligibility standards for this exam.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-tf-widget=\"Aa3rhoxx\" data-tf-disable-auto-focus=\"\" data-tf-iframe-props=\"title=Aptitude tests guide - GRE, GMAT, SAT\" style=\"width:100%;height:500px;\"><\/div><script src=\"\/\/embed.typeform.com\/next\/embed.js\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"eligibility-criteria-for-sat-examination\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility criteria for SAT examination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no required prerequisites or eligibility criteria to take the SAT exam, which the College Board administers. However, a few ground rules do exist-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Age&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An individual of any age may register for the SAT exam. As it&#8217;s meant for high school students, most test takers are between 16 and 19. In any case, there is no specific age limit for taking the test, so anyone interested in attending one of the world&#8217;s best colleges can do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only via phone or letter registrants younger than 13 years old can do so. Unfortunately, online applications are not available to pupils under 13 due to security concerns. It&#8217;s worth noting that kids who apply over the phone can skip the casting process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Those students who have yet to reach the ninth grade are exempt from submitting a photo with their registration; moreover, they must have a valid photo ID with them to the testing center.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any student or candidate who is above 21 years and who plans on taking a government-administered exam must carry a government-issued photo ID to the testing facility.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Frequency&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven times a year, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ischoolconnect.com\/blog\/best-universities-in-the-world\/\">Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)<\/a> is given. Students can take the SAT as often as needed to acquire the score they want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Documents<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any <a href=\"https:\/\/goedmo.com\/blog\/student-management-tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">student<\/a> who wishes to take the SAT must present a passport that is currently in effect. Students with disabilities who wish to take the SAT with additional accommodations must notify the governing body (the College Board) of their disability in advance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All accommodations must be pre arranged with the college board&#8217;s disability services department. The test with the additional features can be utilized for both the SAT General and SAT subject tests if the application is approved. Disabled students&#8217; SAT exam facilities include-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Braille and large-print question papers are used for visually impaired applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extra time allotted for SAT exam completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer implementation for essays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extra breaks are provided during the exam.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"sat-exam-eligibility-for-application-fee-waiver-students\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">SAT exam eligibility for application fee waiver students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The College Scholarship Service (CSS) will waive the SAT registration cost for students who qualify as members of a low-income demographic. High school juniors and seniors applying for a fee waiver to take the SAT must provide evidence that they come from low-income families (defined as those earning less than $100,000 per year).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once they are selected, a <a href=\"https:\/\/ischoolconnect.com\/blog\/academic-counselor-a-handy-guide-for-you-to-become-one\/\">school counselor<\/a> or representative will assist them in completing the application. Under the College Board India Scholars Program, Indian students can receive a cost remission of up to 90% when registering for the SAT.
